Terms of Service

We are a dispatch service

Lockout Rescue Dispatch LLC operates a locksmith referral and dispatch network. We are not a locksmith shop and we do not perform locksmith work. Every job is performed by an independently owned contractor who holds the license their state or municipality requires and carries their own liability insurance.

The service call fee

The flat $150 service call is charged when you confirm a dispatch. It pays for travel to your location and a standard unlock, and it is earned once a technician is dispatched, whether or not you proceed with extra work.

Any labor beyond the service call is a separate transaction between you and the contractor. They must quote it to you in writing and obtain your approval before performing it.

Refunds

If no technician arrives within the quoted window and we cannot reassign your job, the service call fee is refunded in full to the original card. Contact dispatch at (888) 555-0199 to start that process.

Proof of ownership or residency

Technicians are required to verify that you are the vehicle's authorized driver or the property's resident before opening anything. Acceptable documents include a government ID matching the address, a lease, a recent utility bill, a vehicle registration, an insurance card, or a rental agreement. A technician who cannot verify ownership will decline the job, and the service call fee still applies.

Damage and liability

Non-destructive entry is attempted first on every job. Destructive methods such as drilling require your written authorization. Claims for property damage are handled by the performing contractor's liability carrier; we will provide their insurance and license information on request.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lockout Rescue Dispatch LLC's aggregate liability arising from a dispatch is limited to the service call fee you paid for that dispatch.

Emergencies

This service is not an emergency responder. If a person or animal is trapped in a vehicle or structure, if there is a fire, or if anyone's safety is at risk, call 911 first.

Messaging consent

Submitting a request authorizes us to text you about that job at the number you provide, including automated messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out; opting out may prevent us from sending arrival updates.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the dispatch originated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
